As the Engineering Manager for the Platform team, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the seamless delivery of high-performance blockchain solutions. You will lead the Platform (DevOps) and Database engineering teams, drive best practices in CI/CD, and optimise deployment practices across the organisation. Your role will include mentoring engineers, managing projects, and improving automation and operational efficiency, all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Operational Support & Incident Management
Maintain robust operations with swift incident resolution and proactive problem management, shown by decreasing mean time to resolution (MTTR) and reduced recurrence.
Ensure minimal disruption and transparent reviews that drive continuous improvements.
What We’re Looking for from You:
Leadership & Strategic Oversight
Proven success guiding Platform/DevOps teams and embedding a DevOps culture, with a track record of effectively communicating vision and representing engineering at the senior stakeholder level.
Effective Communication & Mentorship
Fluent in explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences, while coaching and developing engineering teams.Collaborates seamlessly with cross-functional leadership groups to achieve shared objectives.
Cloud & Infrastructure Management
Extensive experience operating high-load Kubernetes environments (including Service Mesh and policy tools) across public and private clouds, ensuring resilience, scalability, and security.
Skilled in applying governance frameworks such as FinOps for cost management and compliance to policies and standards while maintaining robust infrastructure performance.
Data & Application Architecture
Deep awareness of both relational and NoSQL databases, coupled with a strong understanding of modern application architecture, lifecycle development, and API best practices.
Ensures robust, scalable solutions that integrate data governance with overall system design.
DevOps & CI/CD Excellence
Embed DevOps best practices and efficient CI/CD pipelines that accelerate release cycles and reduce errors.
Foster a culture of automation and autonomy, enabling faster, more reliable product delivery.
Operational Support & Process Management
Proven ability to apply IT service management practices such as, incident, change, and problem management to maintain rigorous SLAs and uphold availability, security, and reliability.
Drives continuous improvement in operational governance, ensuring issues are addressed proactively and resolved efficiently.
Interview Process: Our interview process consists of; a short call with our internal talent team, followed by a 1 hour technical interview and finally a 1 hour competency interview. Our talent team will be there to give guidance and support you through the process.
